Cultural Intelligence, David A. Livermore
This is an interesting and important book for anyone who works, volunteers or engages cross-culturally. Livermore makes the strong case for strengthening your 'CQ' - your cultural intelligence, which involves being able to better understand the peculiarities of your own culture and that of the people you engage with. The reality is that we are all culturally-shaped beings, and understanding how our culture shapes our thinking, actions and preferences is helpful for communicating in any context!
