We host a number of events each year to encouraging thinking, reflection and conversations around the complexities of poverty and how our responses to poverty and injustice might be shaped by the gospel. We'd love to have your company at any of them. All Amos events are free and we don't do sneaky fundraising asks at them.

NEWS & EVENTS
We also love doing incursions with schools, youth groups or church groups, and have a suite of fun and engaging simulation games that are helpful catalysts for conversations about poverty and injustice. If you're interested, we'll work with you around a theme or topic that's relevant and appropriate. We're currently only able to offer the incursions in and around Perth and the South-West of WA - but we're happy to share resources with you if your group is elsewhere.
If you'd like to chat more about this with us, get in touch here.
Upcoming events
This is an opportunity to hear in detail about the joys and challenges that our partner organisations are currently experiencing as they serve their communities. A number of our partners are working in sensitive contexts, and this is the only space where we openly and safely share their stories.
As always, it's a free event, and there'll be no fundraising asks.
If you are coming, please let one of the team know (or send us an RSVP here) for catering purposes. Hope to see you there!
The Justice, Charity and the Gospel Bible study will run over three weeks in the Perth and Busselton areas. We'll be in touch a week before with locations and times.
As always, it's a free event, and there'll be no fundraising asks.
If you are coming (or if you'd be keen to host a small group in your home!), please let one of the team know (or send us an RSVP here). Hope to see you there!
Mission in the Margins is a three day retreat, reflecting on issues of poverty and injustice from a biblical perspective in everyday, suburban life. We'll visit a range of agencies serving folks on the margins in Perth, spend time with churches engaging holistically with their community, and reflect on God's invitation to participate in his restorative work in our city.
Usually around $150, including accommodation, food and transport. If cost is a barrier, get in touch and we'll work something out.
In partnership with the Salvation Army and Scripture Union.
Registrations open soon.

Mission in the Margins
We spent three days in October 2024 exploring the intersection between the gospel and life in the suburbs of Perth. It was a packed weekend of discussions, simulation games and visiting organisations and communities supporting the marginalised in our city and living out the gospel in refreshing, creative ways. Always encouraging, always though-provoking. And always good food and good fellowship.

Household covenant
In Feb 2024 a small group of us gathered online to spend six weeks walking through the Household Covenant study by Jonathan Cornford. The Household Covenant is a simple annual process for reviewing key areas of our household life choices in light of the gospel. You can read Aimee's reflections on this time together in the latest Amos Magazine.

Newsletter
We send out 2-3 newsletters per year highlighting some of the work we've been doing in both our Australian and International programs. It's also how we send out details for our upcoming events. You can find some of our past newsletters here, and you're welcome to join our email list below.
